The Minister of Industry, Commerce and Tourism, Reyes Maroto, visited the CIE Automotive facilities at AIC-Automotive Intelligence Center on Monday, September 7th. The meeting was attended by Antón Pradera, Chairman of CIE Automotive, and the company’s CEO, Jesús María Herrera. The visit had a first part of presentation of the company and its expansion plans. After the presentation, the Minister visited the R&D unit and the different projects that are being worked on, including those related to panoramic roofs as well as electric vehicle components. The encounter was very interesting, and the Minister shared a very positive approach to the sector, including a practical vision of the steps to be taken in its transformation.
