On Thursday March 31st, the AERCE (Spanish Association of Purchasing, Contracting and Procurement Professionals) awards ceremony was held at the Beatriz Madrid auditorium. The awards, now in their eleventh edition, are back after two years of pandemic and recognised the excellent work of CIE Automotive's Purchasing department in Compliance and Corporate Social Responsibility in the performance of its function.

Irache Pardo, Director of Finance and Treasury and Head of Corporate Procurement at CIE Automotive, was responsible for collecting the award. In her speech, she highlighted that in the supply chain field "not everything is valid. Fortunately, in the last decade, the commitment of companies is undergoing a change. A change in which the focus is not only on the achievement of numerical targets, but also on how these are achieved. And this is where the ESG world becomes a fundamental pillar of the business model, as in the case of CIE Automotive".
