CIE Automotive renews Fundación Haz’s highest distinction in a new era of tax transparency

Bilbao, June 2, 2026 – CIE Automotive has once again renewed Fundación Haz’s “t de transparente” seal in its highest three-star category, further consolidating its position as a benchmark in transparency and responsible taxation.

The renewal of this distinction is especially relevant in 2026, the first year evaluated under Fundación Haz’s new Tax Transparency and Responsibility Standard, which raises the bar in terms of disclosure, contextualization and accountability, in line with international best practices.

With this recognition, CIE Automotive continues to be part of the group of companies that demonstrate best practices in tax transparency and responsible taxation, while remaining one of the few companies outside the IBEX 35 index to obtain this distinction.

The evaluation recognizes aspects such as the strength of the company’s tax governance model, the oversight exercised by its governing bodies, the transparency of the information disclosed and the integration of responsible taxation within the Group’s overall sustainability strategy.

Jesús Mª Herrera, CEO of CIE Automotive, stated that “transparency, rigor and responsibility are part of the way we understand business management. This recognition reflects CIE Automotive’s ongoing commitment to responsible taxation focused on creating sustainable value for all our stakeholders.”

Fundación Haz’s new standard focuses not only on the publication of tax information, but also on its quality, accessibility and ability to clearly explain how companies govern their tax affairs, manage tax risks and contribute to society.

Every year, CIE Automotive publishes its Tax Contribution Report, detailing its tax contribution and tax governance model in the countries where it operates.
